A TV That Lives Outside

The Terrace is designed from the ground up for permanent outdoor installation. Its IP56 rating means it’s protected against rain, snow, dust, insects, and heat — covering all four seasons without needing to be brought indoors. The solid metal chassis is built to take whatever the weather throws at it.

The anti-reflection screen is a practical necessity for outdoor viewing. It cuts down on glare significantly, so even on a bright afternoon you can follow the action on screen without squinting or repositioning yourself.

Neo QLED Picture Quality

At the heart of the display is Quantum Matrix Technology, which uses Quantum Mini LEDs — each roughly 1/40th the size of a conventional LED. These tiny lights are controlled with precision to produce deep blacks, strong highlights, and fine detail across the whole image.

The NQ4 AI Gen2 processor runs 20 neural networks to intelligently optimise brightness, depth, contrast, motion, and sound for everything you watch. The 120Hz native refresh rate keeps fast-moving content — sport, action films, gaming — looking sharp and smooth. Neo Quantum HDR+ with Adaptive HDR10+ ensures every frame is tuned for the best possible contrast, from dark shadows to sun-drenched scenes.

Colour is handled by Quantum Dot technology, delivering 100% colour volume measured to the DCI-P3 standard and validated by VDE.

Smart TV Features

Tizen OS gives you access to Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, Xbox, and Samsung TV Plus — the latter offering thousands of free TV shows and movies with no subscription needed. The system learns your viewing habits and surfaces personalised recommendations so you spend less time browsing.

Multi View lets you display your phone screen alongside live TV on the same panel at the same time — handy for keeping an eye on a second match while watching something else. Voice control is available through Bixby and Alexa, both built in. Google Assistant is also supported.

The built-in SmartThings hub lets you control compatible smart home devices directly from the TV — heating, washing machines, doorbells, and more.

Gaming Features

Samsung Gaming Hub brings cloud gaming from Xbox and other partners directly to the TV — no console or downloads required. AI Auto Game Mode detects the genre you’re playing and adjusts picture settings automatically: richer graphics for RPGs, smoother motion for racing games.

The Game Bar gives you quick access to aspect ratio switching (21:9 or 32:9), input lag readout, virtual aim point, and minimap zoom. All three HDMI ports support 4K at 120Hz, making this a capable gaming display for current-generation consoles too.

Connectivity and Installation

The Terrace has a built-in HD Base-T receiver, so you don’t need an external one to connect devices over longer cable runs. Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.2, and a wired Ethernet port cover all the wireless and wired networking bases.

The Media Bay compartment protects cables and media devices from water and dust. It opens and closes with thumbscrews for easy access. VESA mounting is supported at 400 x 400 mm. The TV ships without a stand, as it’s intended for wall mounting outdoors.

Samsung Knox Security provides multi-layered protection for your account credentials and payment information, with automatic blocking of harmful attacks and ongoing system updates.
