Next-Gen Graphics with RTX 5060

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU comes with 8 GB of GDDR7 dedicated memory — the latest and fastest memory type available in this GPU class. RTX technology supports ray tracing and AI-accelerated rendering, which means better lighting and visual fidelity in supported games. An integrated AMD Radeon 610M handles lighter tasks to preserve battery life when you step away from gaming.

AMD FreeSync is supported, synchronising the display’s refresh rate with the GPU’s output to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering during gameplay.

A Display That Keeps Up

The 16-inch 2K IPS panel runs at 1920 x 1200 pixels with a 16:10 aspect ratio. That extra vertical space compared to a standard 16:9 screen means more content is visible without scrolling — useful in both games and productivity apps. The 144 Hz refresh rate delivers noticeably smoother motion, and the anti-glare coating reduces reflections in bright environments.

The display uses DC dimming to eliminate backlight flicker, which reduces eye strain during long sessions. Micro-Edge bezels keep the overall footprint compact relative to screen size.

Storage and Memory

The 1 TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD offers fast read and write speeds, cutting game load times significantly compared to older SATA drives. Two SO-DIMM slots are both occupied with 12 GB modules, giving you the 24 GB total. There is no optical drive.

OMEN AI and Unleashed Mode

The OMEN Gaming Hub software includes OMEN AI, which automatically optimises settings for maximum possible FPS. Unleashed Mode lets you push performance beyond the standard power limits for situations where you need every bit of processing power available. Both features are accessible with a single click from the hub.

Connectivity and Ports

Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) keeps wireless speeds fast, and a Gigabit Ethernet port is there for a wired connection when you need reliability over speed. Bluetooth 5.3 handles peripherals. The full-size island-style keyboard includes a numeric keypad and 4-zone RGB backlighting, so you can customise lighting zones independently. The HP TrueVision Full HD webcam shoots at 1920 x 1080 and includes a physical privacy shutter — slide it closed and the camera is physically blocked, regardless of software. Audio is handled by HP Dual Speakers with HP Audio Boost, tuned by HyperX, and supported by DTS:X Ultra for spatial sound. Two built-in microphones handle voice input.

Battery and Charging

The 83 Wh lithium polymer battery powers the system, and fast charging brings it from 0 to 50% in approximately 30 minutes when the laptop is switched off. The 230 W AC adapter is included in the box. USB Type-C charging is also supported for lighter tasks.

Security and Sustainability

Security features include a Trusted Platform Module (Firmware TPM), BIOS and power-on password protection, and a physical camera privacy shutter. The laptop holds EPEAT Gold and ENERGY STAR certifications. Ocean-bound plastic is used in the display bezel, and the keyboard keycaps, scissors, and plate contain post-consumer recycled plastic.
