A Robot Vacuum That Looks After Itself

The Deebot T30C Pro Omni comes with a base station that handles the jobs most robot vacuums leave to you. After each clean, it empties the dustbin automatically, washes the mop pads with 70°C hot water to kill bacteria, and then dries them with 45°C hot air to prevent mould and odours. ECOVACS claims this saves 90% of the manual effort compared to standard robot vacuums — a realistic claim for anyone who has ever had to hand-wash a dirty mop pad.

Serious Suction and a Tangle-Free Brush

At 12,800Pa, this is a high-suction machine capable of lifting deep-seated dirt from carpet fibres. The ZeroTangle 2.0 system uses a V-shaped brush that releases pet hair rather than wrapping it around the roller — ECOVACS quotes a 0% winding rate. If you have dogs or cats, this makes a real difference to how often you need to clear the brush head.

When the robot detects carpet, it automatically lifts the mop pad by 9mm to keep it clear of the pile and switches to a turbo suction mode for a deeper clean.

Cleaning Right Into the Corners

TrueEdge technology uses 3D sensors to push the mop and brush right up to walls, reaching within 1mm of skirting boards. The extendable mop arm reaches into corners that most robots miss entirely. This is particularly useful on hard floors like laminate, tiles, and parquet where dust tends to gather along edges.

Smart Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance

TrueMapping 2.0 builds a full 100m² floor map in around 6 minutes, then plans efficient cleaning routes rather than bumping around randomly. The TrueDetect 3D 3.0 obstacle avoidance system uses 3D infrared sensors to identify cables, small objects, and — importantly for pet owners — animal faeces, with a quoted avoidance rate of 98% or higher.

Long Battery Life for Larger Homes

The 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery powers up to 200 minutes of continuous cleaning, which ECOVACS says is enough for homes up to 300m². For larger spaces, the robot can return to its base to recharge and then continue where it left off.

Intelligent Mopping in Heavily Soiled Areas

In areas the robot identifies as heavily soiled, it automatically activates a deep mop mode that makes two passes over the same area. The mop is then washed at 70°C between passes to ensure it is cleaning with a fresh pad rather than spreading dirt around.

Voice and App Control

The built-in YIKO AI voice assistant responds to direct voice commands — say “YIKO, start cleaning” to get it going without reaching for your phone. It also works with the ECOVACS app for scheduled cleans and zone settings, and is compatible with Alexa, Google Home, and Siri. Smartwatch control is also supported.
