The IgniteXL XLF60 is designed to slot into a media wall or sit flush on any flat wall surface. Its slim 147mm depth means it does not take up much space, and its wide 156cm frame fills a wall in a way that smaller fires simply cannot match.
Optiflame Fire Effect
Dimplex’s Optiflame technology creates a layered, realistic flame effect across the full width of the glass. You can choose from six flame colour options or set them to cycle through automatically. Brightness is also adjustable, so you can dial it back for a subtle ambient glow or turn it up when you want the fire to be the room’s main feature. An acrylic crystal ember bed sits at the base of the display to add depth to the effect.
Heating Performance
The fireplace outputs 2kW of heat and includes two heat settings. A built-in thermostat lets you set a target temperature, and a thermal cut-out provides a safety backstop if the unit gets too warm. There is no need for a chimney, flue, or gas connection — it runs entirely from a standard 240V hard-wired electrical supply.
Installation
The XLF60 can be fully recessed into a stud or masonry wall, or semi-recessed, or wall-mounted with the unit sitting proud of the surface. Wall mounting hardware is not included. The installation requires a hard-wired 240V connection, so you will need a qualified electrician to complete the setup. Fittings and fixings for the unit itself are included in the box.
