More Details
Track What Matters Most
Misplacing your keys or bag doesn’t need to cause stress when you’ve got an AirTag attached. Simply open the Find My app on your iPhone or iPad, or ask Siri to help locate your missing item. The improved speaker is 50% louder than the first generation, so you can hear it from up to twice the distance when it’s hiding nearby.
Precision Finding Gets Better
When your AirTag is close by, your iPhone or Apple Watch can guide you directly to it. The expanded Precision Finding range and built-in Ultra Wideband technology show you the exact distance and direction, whether your item is on the kitchen worktop or left in the car.
Share with Family and Friends
You can share a single AirTag with up to five people, making it perfect for items the whole family uses. Everyone gets tracking access through their own device, so finding shared belongings becomes a team effort.
The Find My Network Works for You
Left something at the beach or airport? The Find My network can use over a billion Apple devices to help locate your AirTag whilst protecting your privacy. Your AirTag sends out a secure Bluetooth signal that nearby devices in the network can detect. These devices anonymously relay your AirTag’s location to iCloud, where you can see it on a map in the Find My app.
Lost Mode and Location Sharing
Put your AirTag into Lost Mode, and you’ll get an automatic notification when it’s detected by a device in the network. You can set it up so anyone who finds your item can tap the AirTag with their NFC-capable smartphone to see your contact details.
If you’ve lost an item, you can temporarily share its location with others to help find it. This includes over 50 airlines like British Airways, Lufthansa, and Singapore Airlines. Sharing is private, secure, and automatically stops when you’re reunited with your item or after seven days.
Privacy Built In
Only you can see where your AirTag is located. Your location data never gets stored on the AirTag itself. Devices that relay your AirTag’s location stay anonymous, and all location data is encrypted. Apple never knows where your AirTag is or which device helped find it.
The AirTag includes anti-tracking features. If someone else’s AirTag ends up in your belongings, your iPhone or Android phone will notice and send you an alert. After a while, the AirTag will play a sound to let you know it’s there.
Simple to Set Up
Connect your AirTag to your iPhone or iPad with one tap. Give it a name, attach it to whatever you want to track, and you’re done. You can also receive AirTag notifications on your Apple Watch.
Long Battery Life and Durability
The standard CR2032 battery lasts more than a year. Your iPhone alerts you when it’s time for a replacement, and changing it is straightforward. The AirTag is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance, so it can handle getting wet or dusty.
Make It Personal
When you buy from Apple’s website or app, you can personalise your AirTag with your initials, an emoji, or both at no extra cost.
